Marathon-Tula team cyclist won gold at the Russian Championship

Tamara Dronova, the cyclist of the Marathon-Tula Cycling Team, has defended the national title in the individual race.

At the Russian road cycling championship Tamara Dronova showed the best result at the 25 km distance.

This time, the top five cyclists of the Championship included three riders of Marathon-Tula Team. Diana Klimova won bronze and Daria Malkova took the fourth place.

Marathon-Tula Cycling Team was created in 2017. The team included promising young cyclists specialising in sprint and tempo disciplines. Since the establishment of the project, the team’s cyclists have repeatedly climbed the the podiums of the World Cups, the European Track Cycling Championship. In 2021, Gulnaz Khatuntzeva won bronze in madison with Maria Novoslabodskaya at the Tokyo Olympics.
