After three months of the project implementation, an average purchase amount at Azbuka Life pharmacies of Mega Farm chain has equalled to RUR 1,100. Currently 16 Azbuka Life pharmacies work in Moscow, and 10 more will appear by the end of 2017. The brand's flagship pharmacy will open on October 27 at Ostrovityanova Street.
Let us remind that Azbuka Life is implemented by Mega Farm pharmacy chain at premises of Azbuka Vkusa stores in accordance with the agreement made by the companies in July 2017.
According to the general director of Mega Farm, Andrey Gusev, the first months of the work of Azbuka Life pharmacies confirm that the selected brand strategic positioning and planned conversion of the retailer's shopping traffic are correct.
"Our brand becomes more recognisable and buyers become more loyal, by now, the average purchase amount exceeds the estimated one thousand roubles," comments Andrey Gusev. "We are meticulous in terms of formation of assortment for each individual location, and that is why more than a quarter of receipts is accounted for the sale of parapharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals. Moreover, we greatly rely on highly qualified personnel. Increasing demand for seasonal products definitely plays a certain role too."
Currently 16 Azbuka Life pharmacies work in Moscow. The brand's flagship pharmacy will open on October 27 (currently it operates in a test mode). The area of the pharmacy at Ostrovityanova Street 2 is more than 100 sq.m, and it will be the brand's largest point. On the opening day all the buyers will be granted a 20% discount on the entire range of products, including premium brands, exclusively presented at the brand's pharmacies.
By the end of the year, 10 more Azbuka Life pharmacies will open in Moscow.
